An important part of N.H.D historical record, consists of sound, film and videotaped material as well as material (audio & video) stored in CDs (CD-DVD) containing data from various Warships and Naval Services of the Hellenic Navy. The management of this file type is equivalent to the printed archives. The procedure relates to the concentration,registration, classification and safe keeping of audiovisual material having as main goal, a proper management and an optimum utilization in case of future usage as historical evidence of existence and action for warships or Naval Services of the Hellenic Navy.
