Today, N.H.D is properly equipped with printing and bindery machinery performing a wide range of printing and bookbinding tasks under the coordination of Planning Section, in order to fulfill Hellenic Navy’s needs.
More specific N.H.D carries out the following tasks:
• Books, manuals, magazines and documents print as defined by the H.N.G.S
• Text correction, printing jobs quality check
• Implementation of a variety of other printing tasks
At the same time in cooperation with Traditional Typography Section the following are in production:
• Covers for manuals, navy regulations, books and war ships and naval services record books.
• Invitations and envelopes.
• School Programs.
• Students certificates of H.N schools or seminars
• Block notes
• Receipts blocks
• Personal business cards
It is also worth mentioning that inside N.H.D building it is hosted a small but extremely interesting museum of traditional printing equipment dating from the beginning of 20th century.
