The current list of books of N.H.D library contains approximately 3000 books, including printed versions of Hellenic Navy, history books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, war diaries and other documentation.
Among all existing books, N.H.D library includes rare editions of significant historical and writing value. Some of these rare publications are listed below:
• First Literary Encyclopedias – 1805.
• Kapodistrias Memoirs (Memoires Capodistrias) -1837.
• “Pandora” magazine – 1854.
• Memoirs from campaigns & naval battles of Hellenic fleet – 1862.
• Large number of Greek-foreign language dictionaries of the early 19th century.
