Up to now N.H.D writings except the quarterly magazine “Naval Review” issued in 1917, includes a total of about 30 publications. These remarkable historical works, poetry and art publications with particular attention to the proper syntax and structure are all oriented on maritime history and maritime themes.
More specific, publications related to maritime history projects are fully documented, based on historical material (logbooks, official reports, operational plans, etc.) thus becoming true historical sources for both historical researchers and public.
From 1988 until October 1996, N.H.D under the auspices of “Naval Review” magazine published scarce reprints of historical texts and original monographs. Additionally, on the occasion of the recent completion of 100 years of the acquisition of battleship” Georgios Averof “(2011) and the Greek victory in the Balkan Wars (2012) N.H.D issued two distinct commemorative publications.
